Eden Academy is a registered Impaq Center (Registration Number – H8953) started by Zelia Grobbelaar and uses the Impaq CAPS Curriculum. Zelia has always had a real passion for teaching and started her teaching career in 1999. Zelia now has more than 20 years of teaching experience, and her fire and love for teaching has only grown over the years. Eden Academy’s focus is on learning through play and the holistic development of each and every student, hence our motto – ” We Bloom With Grace in this Playful Place”. We know and understand the importance of playbased learning and we want our student’s to learn with all of their senses, because children learn best through experiences. It is extremely important to us that our students are happy in their learning environment as we know this will result in academic success and a love for lifelong learning.
At Eden Academy we value each and every child and they are not only a number, but become a part of our family. This is why we believe in small classes and one-on-one teaching. Our classes take no more than 8 children per teacher ensuring that each child receives the care, love and attention that they deserve. We offer our services from Gr R up to Gr 3 in both Afrikaans and English.
